Available to regularly attend monthly board meetings. Board meetings are sometimes in person and sometimes via Zoom or Google Meet, and are usually scheduled for the second or third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm, generally lasting 1.5 to 2 hours.
Available to attend periodic committee meetings. Committee meetings may be regular (once or twice every month or two) or seasonal (happening only at particular times during the year) and are generally scheduled to accommodate the schedules of the committee members.
Willingness to speak up during board meetings to share information, opinions, and perspective.
Willingness to serve as a connector between RPSF and their high school community to promote RPSF activities, recruit volunteers, etc.
Student representatives to the Board of Directors must be 16 years of age or older and currently enrolled in a Rochester Public Schools high school; however, students younger than 16 are still welcome to complete the application and join one of our committees.
